Pertemps are recruiting for a Child Protection Lead Practitioner in Newcastle.To make decisions when considering thresholds of need and risk of harm to children and support practitioners in their work with children and families relating to Child Protection processes and thresholds. The role will include chairing Strategy Meetings, Child Protection Conferences and other meetings as necessary and to coach, mentor and provide support, guidance and direction to practitioners across the Children's Services system (both Council led delivery services and external partners) relating to risk of significant harm to children.You must have over 3 years experience of complex social work with children and families, which has included child protection work.For more information, please contact Dan Wimbush on or email your CV to .co.uk
