On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an experienced Internal Account Manager to play a key role in supporting customer relationships and driving sales growth within a fast-paced, customer-focused business.

This position acts as a central link between customers, external sales, and internal teams, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service, supporting commercial objectives, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.

  • Act as the main internal point of contact for customer enquiries, updates, and issue resolution.

  • Work closely with External Business Development Managers to identify and maximise growth opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Liaise with the Order Processing team to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely and smooth delivery of customer projects.

  • Proactively manage and resolve customer concerns with a solutions-driven approach.

  • Monitor account performance, providing regular updates, insights, and reports to the sales team.

  • Support the preparation of quotations, tenders, and proposals as required.

  • Champion a customer-first mindset across the business.


Skills, Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Account Management or Sales role, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, professional client relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Confident working collaboratively across multiple departments.

  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong customer service ethos.

  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
