Data Migration Specialist (Mosaic Implementation)

6-12 Month Contract

Purpose

The Data Migration Specialist will deliver the full data migration workstream for a new Mosaic Case Management System. This includes planning, cleansing, mapping, transforming and migrating data from the current system into Mosaic. You will ensure that all data is accurate, secure and high quality, and support the overall project so it is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration Delivery

  • Lead all data migration activities for a Mosaic (Access Group) implementation.
  • Provide guidance on data cleansing, data quality and data migration tasks.
  • Plan and deliver data profiling, validation, cleansing and transformation work.
  • Work with suppliers, technical staff and internal teams to define data requirements.

Project Execution

  • Create and update work schedules for data tasks and monitor progress.
  • Lead data working groups and act as the main contact for all data quality and migration discussions.
  • Identify data issues quickly and manage resolutions with suppliers and technical teams.
  • Identify risks early and create mitigation plans.
  • Produce clear migration updates for the Project Manager and Technical Lead.

Core Migration Tasks

  • Lead data mapping from Legacy systems to Mosaic.
  • Manage data transformation, testing and reconciliation.
  • Ensure data meets business and statutory requirements.
  • Lead UAT activities focused on data quality and migration accuracy.
  • Maintain issue logs and ensure timely resolution.
  • Produce key documents such as the Data Migration Strategy and data quality plans.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Strong experience delivering data migrations for medium or large system implementations.
  • Direct experience migrating data into Mosaic (Access Group) Case Management System.
  • Expertise in data cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of data and information management principles.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection.
  • Experience managing UAT focused on data outcomes.
  • Experience resolving technical data issues.
