Cover Supervisor - Andover (with a preference for English specialists)

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of mainstream and SEN secondary schools in the Andover area. While you will be expected to cover a range of subjects, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a strong interest or background in English, as schools frequently request support in this department.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee lessons and deliver pre-prepared content to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students when the usual teacher is absent. The role focuses on behaviour management, classroom engagement, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Full time/Part time: Full time or ad-hoc
Pay rate: GBP100 to GBP125 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
A degree is desirable (English or humanities strongly welcomed, but all subjects considered)
Minimum one years experience working with young people
Safeguarding training completed within the last 12 months (we can provide this if needed)

Eligibility:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to supply two professional references relating to work with children
