Food production Operative
To support the efficient production of food products by carrying out a range of food handling and production tasks while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Handling, preparing, and processing food products in line with production requirements

Operating basic food production machinery and equipment (training provided where necessary)

Packing, labelling, and checking finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times

Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and production lines

Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues or faults to supervisors

Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines

Adhering to company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices
Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential

Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
