We are looking to appoint a suitable candidate to take on the management of the schools Admin Team and Cover Board. The successful candidate does not necessarily need to have experience of working in schools but should demonstrate a good administrative background.
The Admin Manager will work closely with the School Business Manager and Deputy Head to deliver a range of administrative functions including; Managing the schools cover board, work experience, staff absence, Student services and reception.
The successful applicant will lead a team and deliver two core functions of the school. This will mean they will need to demonstrate effective leadership, supervision and management to the administrative staff. They will need to be flexible in order to work early hours to manage the everyday needs of the school's Cover Board. You should be able to demonstrate high levels of personal commitment and attention to details to facilitate the delivery of these student focused services.
The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work to a high standard as well as a good understanding of clerical skills in a wide range of activities. You will need to have the ability to prioritise the work load and adhere to deadlines.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to demonstrate a positive approach as well as having strong IT skills.
The working hours for this role are 7.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on a Friday.
