Palantir Data Engineer/Architect - Contract - Fully Remote

We are looking for a Senior Architect or Data Engineer to join a global enterprise team to enhance and optimise Palantir data products. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge technical architecture and user experience, helping ensure data platforms are not only powerful but also intuitive and aligned with user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct design reviews of existing Palantir products, evaluating content, navigation, CTAs, and accessibility.
• Work within the Palantir design system to standardize behaviors and improve consistency across products.
• Translate user and business needs into technical solutions that enhance usability and performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement UX improvements within Palantir platforms.
• Provide guidance on data architecture and engineering best practices, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Document design decisions, architecture changes, and UX guidelines for ongoing product development.

Experience & Skills:

• Strong experience in data architecture/engineering, ideally in enterprise-scale platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data products.
• Ability to align technical design with user needs and business objectives.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with design systems and standardization processes.
• Knowledge of data governance, pipelines, and platform scalability.
• Exposure to agile or iterative development environments.
