Graduate/Site Engineer (Civils)
Your new company
With over 50 years' experience your new employer are a national Construction and Civil Engineering Company carrying out work for the public, private and commercial sectors. Currently seeking to employ a dedicated Graduate Site Engineer for a site-based role, their projects include upgrading water and sewer pipeline installation, construction of large sewerage and water treatment plants and pumping stations, recreational facilities, flood defence, road construction and realignment, ducting projects, wind farm construction, and industrial/commercial new builds or extensions.
Your new role
Your initial project will be based on a solar wind farm scheme based in ROI - projects are located across NI and ROI thereafter.
Your new role as a Graduate Site Engineer will see you join the onsite operational team to ensure each project is running efficiently and to a high-quality standard. You will be tasked with setting out sites and using a totalstation, reading drawings and carry out works effectively. As Graduate Site Engineer the expectancy will be to have some technical knowledge within engineering and ideally a placement year in the industry. You will shadow a Site/Project Manager on each job.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent. Ideally you will have had a placement year within the industry, however, all training, mentoring and support will be provided. This role will require excellent communication skills and the candidate should have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
Due to location of the current projects, you will be prepared to travel throughout Ireland and you must have a valid driving licence.
