Our client is a growing professional services firm with an established and well-regarded tax function in Leeds.They work with a broad range of owner-managed businesses, corporates and groups, offering a joined-up service across tax, advisory and wider financial services.

Your new role:
Reporting directly to the Tax Director, you'll take responsibility for managing the corporate tax compliance function within the Leeds office.
This is a hands-on role combining technical oversight, client-facing responsibility and people management, with the opportunity to identify and support advisory work alongside compliance.
You'll work closely with Partners, Directors and other service lines to ensure clients receive a seamless, high-quality service.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returnsOverseeing corporate tax accounting mattersActing as the main point of contact for clients on corporate tax issues and HMRC queriesIdentifying advisory opportunities arising from compliance workSupervising and developing junior team members, including performance catch-ups and study supportCollaborating with advisory, personal tax and wider service lines to deliver a holistic service
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
CTA, ACA or ACCA qualificationAt least one year of post-qualification experience in a corporate tax role within private practiceStrong technical corporate tax knowledgeConfidence dealing with clients at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisation and time managementA commercial mindset and willingness to take on responsibility
