We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project within a live leisure facility. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a fast-paced scheme with a strong focus on quality, safety, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of site operations on a refurbishment scheme

• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard

• Managing health & safety on site, including RAMS and site inductions

• Liaising with the client, leisure facility management, and design team

• Managing site logistics within a live environment with minimal disruption

• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to the Project Manager

• Conducting quality inspections and managing snagging and handover

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects

• Experience working within live or occupied environments (leisure, retail, education, healthcare, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site management procedures

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification (essential)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes
