Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Ashford (Due to location, own transport is essential)
Salary: 12.80 per hour
Job Type: Full time/permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00- 17:00

We are assisting our client in their search for a Stores Operative to join their growing team, this is a great opportunity to join a growing and well established business.
The role requires proven experience operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently and performing general stores duties to support production and distribution.

Duties include:

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries of finished goods and raw materials
• Picking, packing, and moving stock within the warehouse and stores areas
• Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
• Ensuring products are stored correctly to prevent damage
• Keeping the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards

Skills/Experience required:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach licences (essential)
• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
