Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: 24,000 - 28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
A Primary School in Bolton is seeking a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Mentor Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of pupils across KS2 in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions and mentoring for pupils in KS2
• Support teaching and learning through small group and one-to-one sessions
• Assist in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reports and reviews
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or equivalent mentoring/SEN experience
• Experience working with children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Resilience, patience, and a commitment to inclusive education
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
