Locum Practice Nurse

• Hourly Rate: £24 - £35 (depending on experience and pay type)

We are seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP practice in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking for flexible work and competitive rates.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct chronic disease management clinics, including diabetes, asthma, and COPD.
• Perform wound care, dressings, and suture removal.
• Administer vaccinations and immunisations.
• Carry out cervical cytology (smear tests).
• Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
• Assist with treatment room duties and minor illness support.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting.
• Up-to-date NMC registration.
• Competent in chronic disease management and treatment room skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
