Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside an popular local authority, based in Cheshire, which is seeking an experienced Planning and Highway Solicitor to join their team.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella Rate - 40- 45 an hour depending on experience.
PAYE (Inc.Hol) - 35.71 - 40.10 an hour depending on experience

This role is on a contract basis for 3 months but has potential to extend.
Responsibilities as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:

• Draft and negotiate legal agreements, including section 106, section 278 and section 38 agreements.
• Able to handle high caseload in Planning and Highway from start to completion.
• Deliver training and contribute to continuous legal service improvement.

• Represent the Council in appeals, judicial reviews and statutory challenges.

About you as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in Planning and Highway Law.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
