Maintenance Electrician - Wastewater Treatment (Leven,Fife)

Circa 40,000 per annum + overtime (time & a half)

37 hours per week Day shift Monday-Friday

First Achieves engineering department are working with a well-established organisation

within the water and wastewater sector who are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join

their site-based maintenance team at a Wastewater Treatment Works in Leven.

This role offers a stable weekday schedule, strong earning potential through overtime, and the

opportunity to work within critical national infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of the role include

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on site

Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and O&M manuals

Work with PLCs and star/delta starters

Support mechanical fitters when required

Assist in the development of apprentice engineers

Contribute to a structured site maintenance regime

Essential experience for the role

Time-served electrician or HNC Equivalent qualification in Electrical engineering

18th Edition qualified

Strong electrical fault-finding capability

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Flexible and proactive approach

Wastewater/industrial maintenance experience preferred but not essential

Comfortable working with heights and in confined spaces

Physically fit, this is a hands on role

Desirable (but not essential)

Safe isolation of electrical and mechanical equipment

Training or awareness of LOLER, PUWER, DSEAR

HV competency
