Mechanical Fitter

Location: Near Dursley
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days
Type: Permanent
Salary: Circa 35,000 DOE + benefits

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their workshop team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong mechanical background and experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter:

• Mechanical assembly and fitting work
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Reading and interpreting engineering and manufacturing drawings
• Supporting build, refurbishment and assembly activities
• Ensuring work is completed to quality and safety standards

Key Skills of a Mechanical Fitter:

• Solid mechanical fitting experience
• Highly competent with the use of hand and power tools
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Methodical and quality-focused approach
