SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: 90- 125 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Hillingdon, supporting pupils with severe and complex learning needs.

This supportive and nurturing school provides personalised learning, therapeutic support and consistent routines. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils access education, develop independence and feel valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with complex needs across EYFS-KS4

• Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding and hygiene routines

• Assist with mobility and physical support (training provided)

• Deliver sensory-based learning activities

• Promote communication, wellbeing and positive behaviour

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or complex needs

• Comfortable providing personal care

• Patient, nurturing and resilient

• Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
