We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional fleet maintenance operation. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with strong diagnostic skills and a safety-focused approach to vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician

• Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
• Identify vehicle faults and specify correct repair methods and parts
• Carry out vehicle road testing to confirm defects or successful repairs
• Ensure full compliance with all HSE legislation and company policies
• Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures at all times
• Maintain and develop technical skills as required

Requirements of the HGV Technician

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Previous experience working on HGV and/or PSV fleets
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Good understanding of safety and compliance standards
• Reliable, methodical, and able to work independently
