Maintenance Engineer

Your new company
We have a new opportunity to join a global world-class manufacturing business based, you will be part of a large and experienced engineering team.
Your new role
You will provide high quality engineering support to the site, performing day to day maintenance as per the PPM schedule, attending to breakdowns in a timely manner and performing RCA's, ensuring all actions and remedial repairs are logged accurately on the CMMS system. You will focus on reliability and continuous improvement of all site assets, increasing production efficiency and to reduce any downtime.
You will assist in the set-up and changeover of machinery, complete daily engineering works and record all works into the CMMS, supporting operations teams to increase asset efficiency and ensuring health safety procedures are adhered to. This is a shift-based role with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including days and nights.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have completed a full Engineering apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical engineering, you will have strong fault-finding skills, with both electrical and mechanical competence. A solid understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics, good problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and you will have a good understanding of health & safety.
