Packhouse Supervisor

Location: Spalding, PE11

Salary: 33,000 - 40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent

About the Role:

We are recruiting a Packhouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Spalding. This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading people on the warehouse floor while ensuring daily operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 10-20 staff, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy, and acting as a key link between the warehouse team and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 10-20 warehouse operatives
Oversee day-to-day packhouse and warehouse operations
Carry out stock counting, checking, and preparation
Ensure orders are picked and packed accurately and on time
Maintain quality, health & safety, and efficiency standards
Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders
Support, coach, and guide team members on the warehouse floor
Assist with planning and organising workloads to meet operational demands.

Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role
Proven leadership and people management skills
Strong warehouse and stock management knowledge
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Well organised, hands-on, and dependable
Able to work calmly under pressure and lead by example
