About the Role

We are seeking experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) to join our streaming service within Southport's urgent care setting. This role is critical for rapid assessment and streaming of patients presenting to urgent care or A&E, ensuring they are directed to the most appropriate clinical Pathway to improve patient flow and reduce waiting times.

Key Responsibilities

• Initial clinical assessment and triage of patients upon arrival.
• Identify patients suitable for primary care management versus emergency intervention.
• Make safe, evidence-based streaming decisions in line with local protocols.
• Collaborate with ED clinicians, GPs, and nursing teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Registered ANP with NMC PIN and independent prescribing qualification.
• Previous experience in urgent care, A&E streaming, or triage.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
