A highly regarded London based firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an Audit Manager to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional to take ownership of a varied audit portfolio while working closely with experienced partners in a firm known for its quality driven approach and supportive culture.
Your new role
As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing audits from planning through to completion, acting as the primary client contact and leading audit teams.Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of statutory audits across a broad client base
• Leading audits for UK groups, owner managed businesses, charities and UK subsidiaries of overseas groups
• Preparing and reviewing audit files and financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Managing, mentoring and developing audit seniors and trainees
• Ensuring audits are delivered on time, within budget and to a high technical standard
• Supporting partners with workflow management and client development

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Currently operating at Audit Manager level, or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up
• Strong UK practice background in external audit
• Experience managing teams and dealing directly with clients
• Up to date technical knowledge and a proactive, commercial approach
