Cloud Security Engineer Specialist
Location: Manchester/London
Role Type: Contract- 12-months; possibility to extend
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday)

What you'll do:

• Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services by developing solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts, while optimising the efficiency and resilience of cloud infrastructure.
• Develop secure authentication solutions-including MFA and Passkeys-integrated with leading identity providers like Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Manage deployment and operations across all environments while continuously improving technical standards, tools, and processes to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with global teams to share insights and best practices

What you bring:

• Experience in cloud computing and services (AWS preferred)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and REST API development, including design and consumption ideally NestJS.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security concepts such as IAM, networking, and encryption.
• Familiar with agile practices; Scrum experience is a plus
• Background in working with web services and microservices architectures
• Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders
