Your role as an HGV Technician:

You'll be crucial in keeping commercial vehicles on the road, performing:

• Routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to DVSA and Company standards.

• Diagnosing and rectifying all types of faults, working on your own initiative to ensure cost-effective and safe repairs to an extremely high standard.

• Attending and repairing disabled vehicles at customer sites.

• Ensuring all vehicles are handled carefully and that health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.

• Accurately recording job times on job cards and service sheets within agreed timescales.

• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout your shift.

• Staying up to date with DVSA and product developments, embracing training and continuous improvement.

• Being a flexible and effective team player, supporting both your own and the business's development.

What we're looking for:

• A technical qualification related to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

• A current full driving licence.

• Good verbal and numerical reasoning skills, with confidence in your abilities.

• An efficient, neat, and disciplined commercial HGV Technician.

• Flexibility to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting the team.

• A responsive individual, willing to learn and develop yourself and those around you.

• Excellent relationship skills with colleagues and customers alike.

• A strong understanding of the value of delivering great service.

• The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative.
