Attendance Officer - Ollerton
Long-Term Maternity Cover Enhanced DBS Required (or Willing to Apply)
Teachers UK and Provide Education are currently recruiting an Attendance Officer to work in a partnered school in Ollerton on a long-term basis, covering maternity leave.
The Role:
The Attendance Officer will play a key role in monitoring and improving pupil attendance across the school. You will work closely with pupils, parents, and school staff to promote positive attendance and follow up on any concerns.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confident communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Record and monitor daily pupil attendance

Maintain accurate attendance records and databases

Communicate with parents and carers regarding attendance

Follow up on unexplained absences via phone calls, emails, and letters

Work with pupils and families to encourage regular attendance

Support attendance improvement strategies and plans

Ensure attendance procedures align with school policies
