Academics are seeking a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 class in a friendly primary school in Llantwit Major. This is a full time temporary position and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
The Role Includes:
Supporting pupils across KS1 with classroom activities
Assisting the class teacher with learning tasks and small group work
Helping pupils stay focused and engaged throughout the school day
Providing general teaching assistant support where needed
Working Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible
Minimum Requirements:
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
Good understanding of primary education and KS1 learning
A positive, patient and supportive approach
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from teaching staff
