GSL Education are currently recruiting a Computer Studies Teacher to work across secondary schools in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or confident subject specialists who enjoy teaching computing, IT, and digital skills while supporting student progress.

About the Role:
As a Computer Studies Teacher, you ll deliver engaging lessons that help students develop practical IT skills, problem-solving abilities, and digital literacy. You ll create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Computer Studies/IT lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Assess, track, and support student progress

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Support pupils with targeted interventions and project work

• Work collaboratively with department staff

Job Requirements:

• Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in Computer Studies/IT (QTS preferred)

• Experience teaching Computing/IT at secondary level

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Confident, organised, and adaptable approach

• An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
