You will be working for a well established manufacturing company that specialise in the production of alloys. With a site based just outside of Swansea, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Your new role
Within this role you will be expected to deliver preventative maintenance (ppm) activities alongside reactive breakdowns of the machinery. You will deliver on electrical tasks, but also have an understanding of how to repair mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics and perform these tasks when required.What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to have both electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, where an understanding of using PLC systems and fault-finding is essential.Strong candidates will have either HND, HNC OR OND within an electrical or similar related maintenance field. Strong candidates will also be those who have experience working with companies that work with metal, although this is not essential.
What you need to do now
This opportunity works on a double day shift pattern, 6-2 and 2-10. With potential to work overtime hours.
