Zest Optical are currently working alongside a highly reputable independent opticians in Dublin who are looking to recruit an Optical Assistant to join their friendly and experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with optical experience who wants to work in a relaxed yet professional environment where patient care is the priority. The practice is known for delivering exceptional eye care services and a personalised experience in a modern, welcoming setting.

About the Practice

• Well-established independent opticians based in south Dublin
• Dedicated team of 12 optical professionals, including experienced Optometrists and Optical Assistants
• Focused on delivering high-quality clinical care and outstanding service
• Daily single tests with double clinics running 3-4 days per week
• A patient-first approach, with a strong reputation for quality and trust

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all patients and visitors
• Assist patients with frame styling, lens advice, and product recommendations
• Support the full patient journey, including pre-screening and collections
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation within the practice

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Optical Assistant is essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, approachable, and able to work well as part of a team
• Passionate about optics and delivering a positive patient experience

Salary & Benefits
