The Pre-Sales Architect will act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers across the Netherlands, specialising in private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud, and modern data-centric architectures. You will support the sales cycle by shaping solutions, leading technical conversations, and designing architectures that align with customer needs and business outcomes.

This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technology into clear commercial value.

• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers.

• Understand customer challenges around cloud strategy, data modernisation, infrastructure transformation, and security.

• Present private and public cloud capabilities in a compelling, business-focused way.

• Build strong relationships with C-level, IT leadership, and technical stakeholders.

• Design end-to-end architectures across private cloud, public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hybrid environments.

• Produce high-level and low-level solution designs, including integration, security, scalability, and performance.

• Develop proposals, technical documentation, and solution overviews.

• Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and industry best practices.

• Act as the subject-matter expert for cloud transformation and modern infrastructure.

• Support RFP/RFI responses with detailed technical input.

• Deliver demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth handover.

• Stay current with cloud trends, hybrid architectures, and emerging technologies.

• Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market developments.

• Represent the company at events, webinars, and customer briefings.

• Strong background in private cloud (VMware, OpenStack, on-prem cloud platforms).

• Hands-on experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Understanding of hybrid cloud, networking, security, and modern data architectures.

• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.

• Proven experience as a pre-sales architect, solution architect, or technical consultant.

• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.

• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.

• Fluent Dutch (mandatory) and strong English communication skills.

• Consultative mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

• Confident and credible with senior stakeholders.

• Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with enterprise IT, cloud transformation, or data-intensive environments.
