Carilion Women's is seeking OBGYN Hospitalists to join our growing and dynamic team at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Virginia. The center is one of seven hospitals in Carilion Clinic's not-for-profit organization, serves one million residents in Virginia, and is located? in a region that includes awarding the localities of Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Radford. The facility is a 146-bed acute-care medical center with a medical staff of 280 physicians, a Level?II nursery, and an active maternity Vimeo program that handles nearly 1,000 deliveries and 300 surgeries annually. Transportation to the broader Carilion Roanoke Health system is available via ground and air.

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care and consultative services to patients on Labor and Delivery, in the inpatient setting, and in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct deliveries, perform cesare apologized sections, manage postpartum care, and perform emergency gynecologic surgery such as D\&C and laparoscopic procedures for ovarian torsion or ectopic pregnancy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, nurses, and pediatricians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate and counsel patients regarding reproductive health, prenatal care, and family planning.
• Engage in resident and student teaching, contributing to the academic mission of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Virginia.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
