Most tech companies treat a market entry like a copy-paste job. We're looking for a marketing leader who knows better - someone experienced and excited to shape the U.S. narrative for a breakthrough AI engineering platform together with a global team!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Synera's first Marketing hire in the U.S., you'll shape the strategy and own execution that establishes our AI Agent Platform for Engineering in the U.S. market. You'll work at the intersection of category creation, brand building, and pipeline generation - shaping how enterprise engineering teams discover and adopt agentic AI solutions.
This isn't about localizing German marketing materials. You'll help us define the U.S. narrative, build repeatable campaigns, and create the foundation for predictable inbound pipeline in the U.S. You'll lead our U.S. PR agency, collaborate closely with our sales team, and work hand-in-hand with our centralized marketing team in Germany - Kacey, Jaime, Pauline, Daniel, and Sunitha - to influence strategy across channels.
What a week at Synera could look like:
Monday: Join your 1:1 with your team leader, VP of Marketing Kacey, followed by a quick sync with the European team on active campaigns. You review performance data from last week's webinar and chat about ideas with webinar channel owner Jaime for promoting the next one.
Tuesday: Weekly check-in with the U.S. sales team to review pipeline quality and discuss what marketing support they need for upcoming opportunities. Later, you finalize talking points for an upcoming podcast interview secured by your PR agency and sync with social channel owner Daniel to plan the promotion.
Wednesday: Deep focus day - you're developing messaging for a new campaign targeting automotive engineering leaders, reviewing website analytics to optimize conversion rates, and tying it all together for the events cycle in Q2. At the end of the day, you ping the global event manager Pauline to let her know the messaging is ready.
Thursday: Meeting with your PR agency to review coverage and pitches for upcoming story angles tied to the messaging you finished yesterday. You spend the afternoon on marketing ops tasks - checking CRM data quality, optimizing workflows, and improving processes with support from the Germany team.
Friday: You're meeting with your favorite account executive about securing one of our customers for a media interview and to get feedback on the updates to the FAQ on the product page you made. After the session, you have strategic planning time, mapping out the next campaign iteration based on what you've learned and chatting with Kacey about it.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

You have extensive experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a proven track record of building brand awareness, buyer trust, and inbound ARR.
You have experience marketing AI, engineering software, or complex enterprise technology - you're comfortable making technical products accessible and compelling to multiple buyers and multiple industry segments.
You've been part of category creation or new market entry efforts - you thrive in ambiguity and know how to build momentum from zero.
You're strong in at least one (ideally both) of these areas: website management (buyer journey optimization, SEO, CMS) or CRM/Marketing Ops (HubSpot, Salesforce, data hygiene, processes, and reporting).
You have agency experience or have led a PR agency relationship as a client.
You are comfortable with most marketing channels, including organizing webinars and events, managing organic and paid LinkedIn, content marketing, YouTube, email marketing, digital advertising, and others.
P.S. Synera is a place where everyone can grow. So, however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work every day, and be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our Marketing team.
