Responsibilities Under the direction of an Anesthesiologist, assembles necessary supplies and equipment, and administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other medical procedures. Monitors patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and takes remedial action when warranted.
