Overview: This position has the responsibilities which include management and monitoring of Netezza and DB2 databases in support of the Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. Test and implement changes/enhancements to the database using SQL scripts. Apply knowledge of database management systems to improve performance, stability and recoverability. Develop, maintain and support Unix Shell scripts. Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
