Minutemen Direct is recruiting for an Industrial Engineer for a AI-enabled software/data manufacturing company. These are direct hire opportunities that come with a full benefits package and more. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering.

• Analyze automated assembly workflows, line balance, and Workstation performance.
• Evaluate cycle times, capacity, throughput, yield, downtime, and quality metrics to optimize equipment and labor utilization.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods.
• Design and recommend equipment layouts, material flow, and Workstation configurations for new or modified lines.
• Support automation upgrades, new technologies, and optimization of automated assembly cells.
• Lead and support Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and visualize production data; prepare reports to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to implement and sustain improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production teams to reinforce standardized processes.
• Participate in new product introductions (NPI) to optimize manufacturability from design through production.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering.
• Experience with automated assembly, robotics, or electronics manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including process mapping, time studies, and workflow optimization.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and process documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment.
