TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support Local operations based in Kansas City, MO. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Driver Job Details

• Schedule: Mon-Fri or Sun-Thur, start time between 10-11pm, home daily
• Pay: $29/hr
• Route Type: Local, Kansas City - Omaha - Kansas City
• Freight/Load Type: Driver will remove pallets from the truck using a pallet jack.
• Equipment: 53' Trailer, Automatic transmission
• Handling: Light touch/Pallet jack

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Equipment Experience: Pallet jack
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate 53' trailer on shuttle routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks including pallet jack
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role
