A stealth robotics startup is hiring an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical development of advanced robotic systems from concept to deployment.

• Design and develop mechanical architectures and assemblies for robotic systems, with a focus on reliability, performance, and deployability.
• Collaborate closely with controls, electrical, and software teams to integrate actuation and electromechanical components into cohesive systems.
• Build and iterate on functional prototypes, test mechanical performance, and refine designs for robustness and manufacturability.

• Have a strong track record as a mechanical or mechatronics engineer working on real-world robotic or electromechanical products.
• Deep expertise in mechatronic systems, including actuation systems, electromechanical integration, and machine design.
• Proven experience taking mechanical systems from idea to deployed product, with clear examples of projects brought to life in hardware.
• A hands-on mindset and enjoyment of working directly with hardware, experiments, and test setups rather than purely theoretical design.
