Job Description

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center at our newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey. By joining the robust department, the candidate will have the support of a number of additional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and support staff. This position offers a great work/life balance, with a 22.5-hour work week, limited at-home call and 1 weekend shift per month (paid).

The candidate will be responsible for comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for adolescents and children. Working closely with fellow clinicians and team members, the ideal candidate will play a vital role in crafting effective treatment plans and contributing to the enhancement of patient well-being. The candidate will also be given the opportunity to expand reach by providing cross coverage for clinical services, including adult patients when needed. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the quality enhancement of psychiatric evaluations and treatments across diverse medical and psychiatric services, positively impacting patients of all age groups.

Qualifications
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
  • Familiarity with federal and state standards for psychiatric care
  • Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
