An established medical center in Oregon is seeking experienced hospitalists to join their team on a locum tenens basis. This role involves managing inpatient care for adults in a supportive and high-functioning environment. Position Details: Schedule: Shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Full-time availability preferred, but part-time options may be considered. Practice Setting: Inpatient-only; no outpatient responsibilities required. EMR: Epic system utilized for documentation. Patient Load: Approximately 14-16 patients per shift. Adult-only care (no pediatric or neonatal cases). Facility Details: Level 2 Trauma Center with robust support services including anesthesia, cardiothoracic surgery, radiology, and more. Required Skills and Experience: Board-certified hospitalists (required). Active Oregon medical license (required). Experience with: Ventilation management. Non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP). Arterial and central line placement. Acute and chronic care management. EKG interpretation. Additional Information: Credentialing: Estimated timeframe: 60-90 days. Providers with clean files may be prioritized for temporary privileges. Team Support: Collaborative working environment with experienced specialists available 24/7.
