The hospital is seeking experienced gastroenterology coverage for their established practice. The facility provides comprehensive gastroenterology services with modern equipment and EMR systems. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a well-supported clinical environment.

This region in Michigan features diverse outdoor recreation opportunities including 450 acres of sand dunes with elevation changes and Lake Michigan access offering scenic sunset views. The area provides winter sports activities at multiple ski resorts and family attractions such as aquariums and discovery centers. Residents and visitors can engage in water sports like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding along with professional baseball games and interactive entertainment venues.

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with night call and weekend 24-hour call responsibilities. Daily responsibilities include managing 10-12 patients per day and performing required ERCP and EUS procedures. The clinician will utilize Athena and Cerner EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for this position.
