REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate has experience with patent prosecution at the USPTO or in a law firm, with excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and sharp analytical ability. Industry experience is a plus. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or similar specialties; other specialties or an M.S. with appropriate experience may be considered. Qualified candidates must show competence in understanding chemical structures and properties. PTO registration is strongly preferred, though technical specialists with appropriate experience and the ability to sit for the patent bar will be considered.
