UC San Diego Health CommUnity Care is recruiting for a Per Diem Primary Care Physician - up to 40% FTE, who will fill in for vacations/leaves of absence.

This per diem position will have responsibility for multiple outpatient locations throughout the county including Encinitas, Pacific Highlands Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Eastlake, Vista, and Downtown San Diego. Some coverage will be by Tele-Visit.

Please note, this position does not include an academic appointment through the School of Medicine.

• Will serve as a Per Diem Primary Care Physician, primarily covering Primary Care scheduled physician vacations and scheduled leaves.

• Family Medicine Rate: $134.86 per hour
• Internal Medicine Rate: $139.16 per hour

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Current California Medical License, or ability and commitment to obtain CA license prior to start date
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an outpatient setting
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care

• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and immunization screening.
