Our client is a NYC based Real Estate Investment Firm. With a focus on distressed, deep value add and contrarian investing, mostly within the United States. They manage a diverse portfolio of real estate investments and manage over 4.0 billion of equity capital.

They are looking for a Fund Administrator to support the Finance Group. (Team of 7) Ideal candidate is someone who has supported tax or accounting professionals in the past (compliance, regulations, and funds) and is familiar with the daily interactions of journal entries, cash advances, and knows excel very well.

Position is hybrid: Either 3 days in office, or sometimes 4 days in the office.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly assist the CFO, VP of Tax & Finance and Finance staff

Support the tax department- handle all certified mailings for all tax filings, returns, etc. Must be extremely organized to track mailing dates, return receipts, scan, and save in an organized system and update the tracking files.

Work closely with the Finance department - handle communication between Finance and its 3rd party administrator which will consist of:

Ø Scanning documents, which are called funding memos, saving to its LAN (local area network), forwarding to their fund administrator in a manner that provides appropriate audit documentation

Ø Process invoices approved by the CFO to be paid by their funds and send them to the fund admin for processing (all scanned, filed in accordance with internal processes)

Ø Log onto the online banking platform once bills or payments are ready to be made and ensure that payments are set up consistent with instructions before providing the CFO and VP of Finance to release these payments

Ø Track all payments made in wire log to keep a comprehensive record of all payments made to vendors, providers or otherwise.

Salary will be between 70K-80K with a bonus, + benefits. (100% of the benefits are covered). They offer generous benefits which impacts overall compensation, free lunch daily and 3 weeks paid vacation.
