The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to join its Pediatric Emergency Department. Saint Peter's is bringing the Pediatric Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the department. We are recruiting multiple providers to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed Pediatric Emergency Medicine group.

Pediatric Emergency Department Opportunity Highlights

Requirements

Nurse Practitioners

  • National board certification as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC or PNP-PC) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP required.
  • Current Advanced Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey. Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey.
  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • Current CDS and DEA required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required (American Heart Association).
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance.
  • Previous pediatric or pediatric emergency medicine experience (2+ years preferred).

Physician Assistants

  • National board certification by NCCPA required.
  • Current PA license in New Jersey.
  • Current CDS and DEA required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required (American Heart Association).
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance.
  • Two (2) years of pediatric or pediatric emergency medicine experience strongly preferred.

Compensation: $140,000 annual salary

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects Full time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
