Are you looking for an engaging and rewarding legal support position in the non-profit sector? Join one of Oregon's largest non-profit organizations as the Legal Assistant to the General Counsel.
In this role, you'll work closely with the General Counsel, supporting a wide variety of legal, administrative, and HR tasks. You'll gain experience in employment, transactional, and real estate law, with no two days the same.
Responsibilities
- Track case progress and maintain up-to-date files and documentation
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence
- Manage the General Counsel's calendar
- Perform HR duties including processing timecards, coordinating schedules, and conducting background checks and drug testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Experience with employment law, HR, or workers' compensation preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- High school diploma required
- Notary public preferred
