The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Foot and Ankle Surgeon for a Full time position at our Champlain Valley Physician's Hospital in Plattsburgh, New York. This role requires a strong background in orthopedic surgery, excellent surgical skills, and a commitment to patient care & safety.

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Fellowship Program
• Valid and unrestricted NY license (or ability to obtain post hire)
• Familiarity with EPIC platform is preferred

• Conduct physical examinations of the feet and lower extremities
• Develop treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications, orthotics, or surgical interventions
• Perform surgical procedures such as arthroscopy, joint replacement, and corrective surgeries
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of foot and ankle disorder injuries
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures
• Participate in a 1:5 call coverage
