HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated SAP Solutions Architect to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Position Type: Full-time

• Presales Engagement: Act as the solution architect in presales cycles, working closely with sales teams, solution consultants, and clients to understand business challenges and position SAP S/4 HANA-based solutions.
• Solution Architecture: Design scalable, high-performance S/4 HANA architectures tailored to Retail and CPG industry processes, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and digital transformation strategies.
• Industry Expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding of Retail and CPG business models (omnichannel, supply chain, merchandising, trade promotion, direct-to-consumer, etc.) and map these to SAP best practices.
• Client Workshops: Lead discovery sessions, design thinking workshops, and value engineering exercises to uncover business needs and showcase SAP's differentiators.
• Proposal Development: Support RFPs, RFQs, and solution proposals by providing architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and technical write-ups.
• Demonstrations: Deliver compelling SAP S/4 HANA demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) showcasing the value proposition to business and IT stakeholders.
• Thought Leadership: Provide subject matter expertise in HiTech, contributing to whitepapers, industry events, and customer presentations.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with delivery teams, product management, and partners to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with implementation best practices.

• Experience:
• 15+ years in SAP solution architecture and delivery, with at least 5+ years specifically in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Strong presales or solution consulting background with proven success in Retail & CPG accounts.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Retail & CPG processes such as assortment planning, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, supply chain, demand planning, store operations, and E-commerce integration.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA core modules (Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain).
• Familiarity with SAP industry solutions for Retail & CPG (eg, CAR, F&R, AFS, Trade Management).
• Understanding of integration with SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and third-party applications.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to engage CXO-level stakeholders.

• Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs in Retail & CPG.
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI/ML, advanced analytics, and cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required.

Pay Range Minimum: $175,000 + bonus

Pay Range Maximum: $235,000 + bonus

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
