On behalf of one of our valued client, Global Scanning Group, we are searching for a dedicated Director of Sales and Business Development to join their team in the Washington DC area.

About the role

As Director of Sales and Business Development for the Americas (Contex and Colortrac), you'll lead commercial growth for two globally recognized technology brands. You'll work hand-in-hand with a strong network of distributors and partners across the United States, Canada, and Latin America - driving performance, developing strategic relationships with key distributors and channel partners, and ensuring profitable, sustainable growth.

You'll report directly to the Global Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and play a pivotal role in shaping Contex and Colortrac's presence in the Americas markets.

Key responsibilities
  • Championing distributor engagement and ensuring strong execution of the international strategies.
  • Tracking and analyzing performance data to identify opportunities and secure corrective actions when needed.
  • Balancing sales forecasts, supply, and inventory levels for efficient operations.
  • Taking ownership of regional sales metrics and driving teams to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Leading and motivating a talented, high-performing commercial team.
  • Managing the overall business operations of our Americas office, including finance, logistics and office leadership.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, international business, or a related commercial field.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales leadership - ideally in technology, hardware or related industry.
  • Strong experience in managing distributors, partners, or regional sales network.
  • Sound understanding of strategic planning, financial performance, operations, and team leadership.
  • Ability to operate independently while aligning with global leadership.
