Grand Junction is a city of 155,000 in Colorado's Western Slope region. It's known as the hub of Colorado's wine country. The area has much to offer - the Colorado River State Park offers river access, lakes, biking trails, and wildlife. The Museum of the West displays prehistoric pottery and 19th-century firearms. West of the city, the trail-lined Colorado National Monument is a park with red sandstone monoliths and canyons.
