Project Finance Lawyer- $365,000-$450,000 Annually

Location: Washington, D.C., District of Columbia, United States

Our global law firm seeks a senior Project Finance lawyer to join the Projects team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and other energy transition projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work on complex project finance matters alongside experienced attorneys.
  • Gain invaluable exposure to global legal practices and deepen your understanding of renewable energy project matters.
  • Be part of a dynamic and collaborative firm that values professional growth and excellence.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a project finance lawyer.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Experience reviewing project documentation preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing with a Large National Firm.
  • Lateral candidates only, those coming directly from another LARGE FIRM (Top 350) currently practicing in this practice group.
  • JD education required.
Position Details
  • The Full time base annual salary is expected to range between $365,000 - $450,000. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and depend on individual and firm performance.
  • Location flexibility: This role may be located in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.
  • Firm profile: Global law firm with a powerful strategic focus and momentum; highly regarded Projects team (Band 1 Chambers-ranked in relevant categories).
